The workshop covers:

  • history/development of the K-Power workshops and their relevance for manual therapists
  • information about the 5-elements, energy cycles, yin/yang and meridian pathways
  • muscle testing and balancing techniques/procedure
  • how to test and correct under-functioning meridians/muscles
  • how to do a simple yin balance
  • 'switching on'
  • making sure the muscles are testable
  • testing for dehydration
  • central meridian integrity test
  • muscle balancing with a goal
  • pre-tests/activities
  • 5-element emotions (including chart)
  • short cuts
  • making sure your work lasts
  • and much more........
This is a very comprehensive workshop, covering the basics of kinesiology.  On completion of this workshop, you will be eligible for further K-Power® workshops where you will learn protocols for correcting different groups of muscles (core muscles, shoulder/arm, hip/thigh, knee/ankle/foot or elbow/wrist/hand).

All K-Power® workshops are acceptable to the Kinesiology Federation as CPD.

Penny began training with Denise in 2000 and qualified in 2004. Penny works in Hythe, Canterbury, Faversham and near Ashford.
